Lelon - - Hmmm.  This is way too early.  You were always the best person to sit behind in math.  Learned alot from you, and I enjoyed the view.  So sorry.  May God bless your family.  Miss you.  - - Pete E.

Lelon was the smartest person I knew at New Trier, and one of the nicest.  She sat beside me in advisory class, and I always enjoyed our talks.

Lelon and I were also together at Wellesley but we had lost touch over the years.  So sorry to hear this news, much too soon.  There is no date on the post about her death.  What year was it?

Lelon and I palled around at New Trier, in French class for sure, maybe chemistry.  We both attended the U. of Chicago for a first round of grad school - she in English, me in Classics.  We lost touch then saw each other at the tour of the NTE campus during the 25th reunion.  At the time agreed that the U of C is, in Lelon's words, "insane."  It was good to see her then.  I was shocked to learn of her death.  Rest in peace, my friend.  You were a wonderful person to hang out with at NT.

Lelon lived across the street (Chestnut Ave. in Wilmette) from me and we both went to kindergarden on the first floor of the house at the north end of Central School, before the additions were built.  I vividly recall walking down the street with her, debating the existence of Santa Claus, while holding the ears of my Santa stuffed toy so he wouldn't hear.  She was so polite, well-mannered, and dignified, even as a child.  Peace be with you.
