A funeral was held Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, in Congregation Neveh Shalom Synagogue for Pamela G. Schreyer, who died Nov. 29, 2003 at age 49.
Pamela Gross was born Dec. 6, 1953, in Baltimore. She graduated from Northwestern University. She was a voice teacher and performer who moved to Portland in 1987. She performed with the Laden Singers. In 1982, she married Fred.
Survivors include her husband; son, William; daughter, Elizabeth; mother, Elayne Gross; and brother, Jeff Gross.

I miss my friend, Pam. She was Irene Malloy to my Minnie Fay. She showed me around Glencoe, entertained me at many sleepovers, sang with me, laughed with me and even came with me to U of I and lived in the same dorm freshman year. I think of her mom, dad, brother, Jeff and the wonderful times we had at her house. I miss you Pamie!

So sad to here Pam is gone. She was such a sweetheart, with a great sense of humor. Knew her just a short time in H.S. She was dating Don, and I was dating Joe. Good times. God bless her and her family

I did not learn of Pam's death until a few months ago. We went together most of senior year and I was crazy about her. She was a kind, generous, and beautiful person and I was a better person for having known her. She was also an extremely talented singer and actress. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
