"So for all the Kirk's friends who are on the West Coast, and any of you that are in a position to travel, there's a memorial plan for Kirk and Pat in Elk on the 26th of October. I'm sorry I didn't post about this earlier, but I've been very busy dealing with Kirk's estate. Many of his local music friends are planning some sort of musical celebration. So if you can bring an instrument, bring an instrument. It will be at the Greenwood Community Center which is just down the street from the house in Elk. There are numerous BNBs and Inns scattered up and down highway one between Elk and Fort Bragg. I know that Mark and I, and Pat's sisters are all planning on being there, and I hope we get to see you too. October 26, 1-4 PM-ish at the Greenwood Community Center, Elk California. "
