Attended New Trier West

BEARDSTOWN - Richard M. Welbourne Jr., 51, of rural Beardstown, IL died Monday, May 16, 2005, at his home.

He was born Sept. 29, 1953, in Evanston, the son of Richard M. and Barbara Haskins Welbourne. He married Beverly Ann Stocker Hutson in 1984 in Quincy.

Mr. Welbourne graduated from New Trier High School in 1971 and the Chicago Arts Institute. He was a member of Carpenters Union Local 904 and worked at Welbourne Electric in the Chicago area with his father for several years; RJ Electric Inc. in Beards-town; and Excel Corp. in Beards-town for 18 years.

Survivors: wife, Beverly; two stepsons, James Todd (wife, Sheila) Hutson of Browning and Richard Keith Hutson (companion, Tina Patrick) of Beardstown; three grandchildren; brother, Bruce Welbourne of Peoria; and sister, Carolyn (husband, Charles) Todd of Morton.
