It’s with deep sadness that I write this post.😞 My brother Brad Weiss, class of 71’ passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. He was 71 years old. Brad earned a Master’s Degree in Business from SIU and went on to proudly build his own successful furniture business. He married Lori on July 8, 1979 and together continued serving their community. Brad was the proud father to Brian and welcomed Shilpa into the family with open arms. His grandchildren Kalen & Keiren kept him busy running and loving! 
Brad loved music from a young age, forming a band and playing bass guitar. He attended hundreds of live shows and amassed thousands of concerts in his home library. He built a home theater in which to enjoy his collection with friends. He passed his unabashed love of music on to his son and cherished the concerts they saw together.

We had a close brother-sister relationship and I miss him terribly!💔
