New Trier friends and family, if you haven’t heard, on January 24th our sweet Eileen went to be with the angels. Those of us who were lucky enough to know her as a teenager in Illinois, on stage for Opera , Lagniappe, in choral groups, and in life knew her kindness and generosity. She was a great communicator, listener, and trusted friend. I was blessed to have know this accomplished ladies friendship for 50 years. Some people in our lives we just believe will be there forevermore, sadly and unexpectedly my dear friend Eileen is here no more. The last time I spoke to her, her heart was full of love of life just like it was when we were 17. I choose to remember her with a happy heart. She believed “one positive thought each morning can change your whole day “ and that’s exactly the way she lived her life - - breathe in ... breathe out... and move on with a smile on your face. Focus on the Positive and the rest will work itself out ... we won’t forget .
Sending light and love to her three lovely sons, adorable grands and extended family in California, as well as to her family and friends in Illinois. We were all blessed to have this lady in our lives. Eileen was such a joy to sing and dance with. I am so grateful we reconnected in 2015 after many years. It's so important to stay in touch with those who have impacted our lives. Some people are just unforgettable (50 years on!)... her sunny smile will be missed and her spirit lives on...
